ABOUT ELLEVATE COMMUNITY

Ellevate Community was co-founded by Eboni and Marjaan McDonald, a powerhouse couple with a shared passion for culturally relevant empowerment.
Eboni is a licensed financial professional and lifestyle influencer recognized as a 2-time RBC Woman of Influence nominee. She specializes in helping women of colour build wealth and fund their dream lifestyles.
Marjaan, a community leader and youth advocate, leads impact-driven programming within the Peel District School Board and a regional non-profit, supporting BIPOC youth through sport and mentorship.
Together, they bring a strong track record of community engagement, financial education, and culturally immersive event curation — merging credibility with connection to create dynamic, high-converting experiences like the STB Brunch.
WHAT DOES ELLEVATING
COMMUNITY MEAN TO YOU
Cass (@ddoseofcase), Junior (@jr_alphapack), Monique (@gyallivant), and Royston (@flyynancial.solutions) joined us to share their definitions of “Ellevating Community”.
For us, Ellevating Community is more than a concept—it’s a commitment. It’s creating spaces where Black professionals, youth, and entrepreneurs can grow through networking, skill-building, and meaningful connection. But it doesn’t just stop there. It also includes investing in our communities by championing Black-owned businesses, mentoring the next generation, and paving new paths forward. And of course, it’s celebrating the culture—because music, joy, and shared experiences are essential to keeping us engaged, ellevated, and united.
